In December, Blue Cares teamed up with Target for a series of special Shop With a Cop events across the city. As part of the Blue Santa Program, local children received free gift cards and enjoyed a festive shopping experience alongside San Antonio police officers and family members.
The events took place at select Target stores, including Westover Hills, Alamo Heights, La Cantera, and Southeast Military locations. Officers, volunteers, and Blue Cares team members helped make the season brighter for families in need by sharing joy, gifts, and holiday memories.
Blue Cares continues its mission to support low-income and at-risk families year-round. The Blue Santa Program, founded in 1976, remains a beloved tradition for spreading the spirit of giving throughout San Antonio.
