In partnership with the San Antonio Police Officers’ Association, Blue Cares assembles and collects donations of hygiene items for We Care Kits. San Antonio Police Officers carrying these We Care Kits with them on duty for people in need. Often, police officers are the first to know when a person is lacking personal essentials at home, and these We Care Kits help them meet the needs of our community.
The need for basic necessities has grown across our City with this revelation began our new mission to provide free hygiene items/kits to those who otherwise would go without. We Care Kits are customized for men, women, and children. We are fortunate to receive donations from our San Antonio Police Officers Association members and their families to help fill these kits. In March 2023 our goal is to try and make 10,000 kits to address the need in our community.
