Blue Cares launched its annual donation drive to support the “We Care Kits” initiative. The drive aimed to gather enough supplies to assemble and distribute 1,000 personal care kits to schools across the San Antonio community.
Each “We Care Kit” includes essential hygiene items such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, comb, deodorant, body wash, a brush, and feminine hygiene products. San Antonio police officers and staff begin delivering the kits across the area in early April.
Donation drop-off locations have been set up at SAPOA headquarters and multiple police substations around the city, offering residents a convenient way to give back. The donation drive ran until March 14, with additional contributions accepted online.
