The summer months of the year are meant to be filled with fun outdoor activities, but they can also be filled with fun activities that make a difference. Encourage your teens to be more active in activities that serve a valuable purpose this summer.

Blue Cares is now approaching our busiest time of year! With so much going on, there are many ways for the community to come together and for you to give back. Children are our future and while Blue Cares works hard all year long to help as many underprivileged, low-income children and families as possible, we can’t do it alone.

School is in session and it’s time to get our children involved in extra-curricular activities! Students who immerse themselves in after school programs gain confidence and learn lessons at a young age as opposed to a student who isn’t as involved in extracurricular activities.

Giving back helps your community and helps a cause you truly believe in. During the Big Give, you have the opportunity to choose the organization to donate to that is closest to your heart.

In November, the 2017 Harris/Dailey-Wells Blue Santa Golf Tournament presented by Michelob Ultra took place at the TPC Golf Resort. All proceeds would go to benefit the Blue Santa program

Blue Cares works to provide assistance to underprivileged children and their families throughout San Antonio and we are in the midst of our two busiest months.

With the help of a few volunteers, we packed up the Blue Cares van with food and chairs in the early morning and made our way to the stadium.

August is an important month for Blue Cares. It’s the time when children prepare to go back to school and Blue Cares needs to be there when they do.

Every year, Blue Cares chooses a local family to adopt on Easter. On Thursday, Blue Cares presented Easter baskets and gift cards to the Arias/Ramirez Family!
