Blue Cares works to provide assistance to underprivileged children and their families throughout San Antonio and we are in the midst of our two busiest months. While we are prepping meals and delivering them to Title One elementary schools for our Project CJ program, we are also getting ready for our Blue Santa program!
Right now, we need you now more than ever! We need volunteers for the months of November and December. As a volunteer, we will ask you to help gift wrap toy donations for the children who participate in our Blue Santa program. Gift wrapping can be fun! Make new friends or bring your friends, family members, or coworkers with you to help. For volunteer opportunities, click here.
We’re also in need of toy donations! We want to be the light in a child’s eyes this holiday season by providing them a present that their families wouldn’t be able to afford. We accept new, unopened toys for boys and girls. There is no limit to how many toys to donate and we accept gifts of any value. It’s the thought that counts. If you can’t volunteer or don’t have toys to donate, we of course welcome your financial support for these worthwhile programs. Contributions of any size will go a long way in helping the thousands of underprivileged children in our community that Blue Cares serves year round.
If you can help this holiday season, please consider donating your time or money to Blue Cares, a San Antonio Police Officers’ Association outreach. Thank you!
