Every year, Blue Cares chooses a local family to adopt on Easter. On Thursday, Blue Cares presented Easter baskets and gift cards to the Arias/Ramirez Family!
The Arias children: Yesenia (16), Leslie (13), Priscilla (10), and Jose (7), were left orphaned by a wrong way drunk driver. Their parents, Jose and Rosa Arias, had just left a little league game for one of their children when they were hit. Three of the four children were in the car but survived.
Jose’s sister, Maribel, has adopted them. She has four children of her own: Sergio (11), Joe (9), Zoe (7) and Angel (2). Blue Cares donated gift cards to HEB and Old Navy to the family as well as provided Easter baskets for each child.
