A new study by researchers at Cornell University reports that growing up in poverty exposes children to greater levels of stress.

Blue Cares is seeking volunteers to help package healthy snack packs for elementary students, deliver them, and even provide some of the food to include in the snack packs.

This December, Blue Cares and Blue Santa are asking for your generous donations in the form of toys or a monetary contribution. San Antonio has many low-income families who have a difficult time providing a happy Christmas experience for their children.

Our Blue Cares programs are not possible without the big-hearted donors and volunteers that come from all around San Antonio. Because of their generosity, we are able to provide support and happy surprises to underprivileged children throughout the city.

Beginning this November, you will be able to drop off new, unwrapped toys to multiple locations around San Antonio. For the first time, we are partnering with InTown Suites so that you can donate a new toy somewhere closer to you.
